The Rainforest Alliance has announced that Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen has joined its Board of Directors.

In her role as a board member, Bündchen will be involved in shaping the 'vision, strategic plans and policies' of the organisation, and she commented 'I have long admired the work of the Rainforest Alliance and its positive impact on the environment. Its mission aligns with my own long-standing commitment to environmental stewardship'.
